The Avengers.

Journal Entry: Sun May 13, 2012, 11:52 AM
Watched it yesterday at AMC.
Diagnosis: fuck you if you haven't seen it yet. Not watching this movie is for ugly clowns and poopfaces.
It's the bacon of movies, and the Hulk is the bacon of heroes.
Get your ass in your car, drive it through the wall of the theatre, and WATCH THAT SHIT.

Huh I thought that it was an okay movie. It was funny in parts and cool in other parts, but it wasn't as mind blowing as I had hoped. It was probably all the hype for it, but I thought it would be something as spectacular as Nolan's Dark Knight. I do commend the script writing for its cleverness =3

Otherwise, it's a pretty good popcorn movie fun for all the fans of the heroes.

Well, in my opinion, the Avengers movie lived up to expectations, further even. I had low expectations for Marvel after watching Thor, Captain American and Ghost Rider, but the Avengers movie brought those expectations straight up (at least for the one's directed by Joss Whedon). The best part of the moment is that there was very little hype for the movie. (or at least for me there wasn't)

Hype was the wrong word XD
But what I heard from many people who watched the movie already that it was spectacular and one of the best movies they had ever seen. So I had come into it with high expectations. Then I probably started analyzing too much in the visual and narrative techniques that went into the movie that it probably didn't allow my full enjoyment of the movie.

I do agree that Whedon did a decent job on this movie, I did like some of his script writing =3

dX' you had high expectations? In a marvel movie? Even if a horde of people told me it was good I'd still have low expectations.
But that's beside the point. The point is that the movie was fun to watch and that's what I think a good movie should be.

We're probably opposites of each other in some ways because I have my views on the Dark Knight. I guess that movie was well written and such, but it was. just. so. damn. boring. I can barely remember it now. But again, BESIDE THE POINT.
The point is that theHulkwillfindyourhomeandsmashyouintothegroundfornotfullyenjoyingthemovieinthefirstplace.

Well we can agree to disagree then ^_^;

I've been told I think too much and it prevents me from taking things as they are and appreciating it as such so... I'll figure out how to work on that. Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes X'D

It's okay, I've seen and handled much, much worse people X'D
And besides words can always be taken in different tones and meanings online so everything can get lost in translation ^_^;

I don't make the most amazing first impressions either =P

Exactly, right? When I type comments, a lot of the time it's meant to be said in a sarcastic fashion. Without knowing that, my comments will read like I'm a prick.
